How do I turn up the volume for the cable box?

Once your remote is set up, complete the following steps:

  • The receiver needs to be powered on
  • On the universal remote, press the CBL button.
  • Keep tapping the Volume Up button

How do I turn on the Closed Captioning feature?

Complete the following steps to enable the closed captioning feature through your cable receiver:

  • Make sure the receiver is plugged into a power outlet and connected to your TV.
  • Power off the receiver and then immediately press the menu key on the front panel or remote.
  • On your TV, the on-screen menu lists the settings you can configure.
  • Use your remote control or the cursor keys on the front panel of the receiver to navigate the on-screen display.
    • Press the Down Arrow Key to highlight Closed Caption.
    • Press the Right Arrow Key to change the setting from disabled to enabled.
    • To exit the menu, press the Power Button twice.

How many channels do I get with Litestream cable TV?

The number of channels will vary slightly, depending on the package you subscribe to, the community you live in and the region where your Litestream distribution center is located. We guarantee your channel lineup will offer more than 250+ popular channels, including your local broadcast networks, along with basic programming, sports, premium and movie channels. Does Litestream offer High-Definition (HD) services?

Yes, Litestream offers more than 150 channels of high-definition programming. In order to get the most out of high-definition, you'll need a television with a resolution of 720p or higher. Most televisions on the market today are 1080p resolution.

You will also need a HDMI cable or component cables and a high definition set-top box to get the best HD picture.

Do I need a digital receiver for every TV?

No. Litestream offers the most comprehensive and largest number of channels on the basic lineup. To view these channels you will need a modern digital television. However, not all channels will be accessable. If your television is an older model, or you want to receive all of the mapped channels, then you will need a Digital Terminal Adaptor (DTA) or a set-top box connected to each of those TVs.

What should I do if my remote control is not working?

If you are having trouble with the remote control for your set-top box, please take the following steps:

  • Sync the remote with your digital receiver by pressing the SAT mode button.
  • Check to see if the lights on the remote are working. If not, replace the batteries because there may be a power issue.
  • If problems continue, please call our customer care team for further assistance. Check out our support page to contact your local office.

What should I do if I have problems with my set-top box or DVR?

Reset the box by unplugging the power, wait 30 seconds then plug the power back in. It may take a few minutes for the box to restore its settings.

Will I see programming information or just the channel number?

The Litestream Whole Home DVR system offers a plethora of new features including channel and programming information.

What are some troubleshooting tips when my Internet is not working?

For Motorola Modems (Internet Service Only):

  • Unplug the cable modem from the power outlet
  • Wait 10 seconds, then plug the modem back in
  • Unplug your router from the power outlet
  • Plug your router back in


For Arris Modems (Internet and Voice Service):
  • Find the reset button on the back of the device (small hole by the blue USB port)
  • Use a pen or any pointed object to press the reset button until you see the lights on the front of the device turn off
  • Release the reset button and wait for the device to cycle up (this may take up to 5 minutes)
  • Unplug your router from the power outlet
  • Plug your router back in

What can I do to improve my home router and WiFi connection?

There are many different brands and models available on the market today, and each device may have a different configuration. For generic troubleshooting tips please refer to the following articles which are published by USA Today.

How do I set up my email?

Use the following settings in your preferred mail client application:

  • Select the option to add a new account in your email client
  • If prompted, enter the following information:
    • Login: Your full email address
    • Server Name: mail.litestream.net for both incoming and outgoing
    • IMAP or POP3: Choose IMAP to leave messages on the server, or POP3 to download them to your client

How many email accounts can I have?

Each subscriber may configure up to five email accounts through Litestream.

What is the website to check my email?

How fast are the Litestream Internet speeds?

Litestream offers download speeds of 10, 15, 25, 50, 100, and 115 Mbps and up in some communities.

How do I make a payment online?

From your home computer:

  • Enter your user name and password in the fields above.

How do I sign up for automatic payments?

Open your browser and navigate to the Litestream website to log in to your account.

  • Enter your user name and password in the fields above.
  • Under Account Payments, select Register for Autopay
  • Enter your credit or debit card information
  • Make sure Automatic Payment is checked and click Save Credit Card Info
