Litestream, a Florida-based telecommunications provider focused on delivering Internet, cable television and voice services to private communities, has partnered with KB Home to provide services to its new neighborhoods in the Glen St. Johns community, in St. Augustine. Litestream is currently in the process of building and launching upgraded phone service, Internet speeds and more throughout the community.
In addition, Litestream has implemented Ready Connect, a convenient, proactive process enabling new homeowners to be connected immediately. With Ready Connect, the company activates two outlets—typically in the master bedroom and family room—so homeowners will have television, phone and Internet service the day the move in.
“We understand the move-in process, especially for families with children, can be challenging, said Litestream CEO Bill Haggarty. “We want to make it easy. With Ready Connect, families can take advantage of Litestream services instead of waiting for a technician to come in and install and activate outlets throughout the home.”
The Glen St. Johns community is built around nature preserves, lakes and open fields to provide residents with a beautiful natural setting. Amenities for the community include a pool, covered patio area with restrooms, fitness room, children’s playground and sports playing fields. KB Home has two new neighborhoods in Glen St. Johns—The Reserve and The Crossings.
Formed in 1999, Litestream set out immediately to be a new kind of cable company—one that is completely committed to understanding the needs of customers and exceeding their expectations, while providing a complete line of value-added services. Since its inception, Litestream has grown to become a leading provider of high definition (HD) video, high-speed Internet, and digital phone services to private and gated communities in Florida.
In 2012, the company completed installation of a new master television reception and distribution center, also known as a headend. The state-of-the-art signal receiving and processing center is one of the most advanced in the state and receives television programming for digital channels—many in HD—and distributes them to Litestream customers throughout Florida over a fiber optic network, allowing the company to serve communities statewide. Built to withstand hurricanes and natural disasters, its design is scalable and adaptable for expanded future need.
Together, the Litestream management team has over 130 years of cable industry experience, including all phases from construction to customer service. For more information, call 877-212-4744 or visit www.Litestream.net.
