Litestream, a Florida-based telecommunications provider focused on delivering Internet, cable television and voice services to private communities, is making its presence known in Southwest Florida with the installation of a new master television reception and distribution center (also known as a headend) in Naples, as well as the hiring of new CEO, Bill Haggarty.

The state-of-the-art signal receiving and processing center receives television programming for over 300 digital channels and distributes them to Litestream customers throughout Florida over a fiber optic network, allowing Litestream to serve communities statewide. This master facility also has multiple fiber optic connections to the Internet, providing lightning-fast connections for Litestream’s broadband Internet customers and crystal clear conversations for telephone customers.

Litestream specializes in the construction of new broadband communications systems in established communities. A key feature that sets the company apart when working with communities and associations is that they design, build and deliver a newly-built, modern broadband communications system throughout the community, replacing the outdated infrastructures currently in the ground. This new broadband infrastructure ensures higher quality signals and more capacity and is not burdened by the repairs and weathering inevitably accompanying the original system that has been in the ground for many years. Litstream’s engineers design systems that bring fiber optics throughout the community to provide service quality which current networks are unable to achieve.

The company’s White Glove construction process has been developed from many successful community conversions, and customer satisfaction of both residents and Board leadership in communities is the central focus of the company.

The company’s new CEO, Bill Haggarty, has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the telecom service/cable/data delivery industry with varying-sized companies, including start-up, emerging, new division and large corporations. Past positions include nearly 10 years as CEO of Oklahoma-based Allegiance Communications, a diverse cable television communications company with more than 150 employees, cable television systems in 140 communities and available to more than 205,000 homes in five Midwestern states. Haggarty was also a partner at InterMedia Partners, helping build the nations ninth largest cable television company and a company awarded the prestigious J.D. Power Award for Customer Service. He is focused on customer satisfaction and in delivering the highest quality services to customers.

Haggarty’s past professional affiliations include Cable Television Pioneers; Tennessee Cable Telecommunications Association, where he served as secretary, treasurer, chairman of special events committee, chairman of budget committee; a member of the Board of Directors for the California Cable Television Association; Board of Directors and Chairman of Programming Committee for California Channel; and a Board of Directors member and multi-term president for the Bay Area Cable Club.

“Litestream is a company focused on customer care, customer service and customer satisfaction,” said Haggarty. “As a communications company, we focus first on constant communication with our customers, the community in which they live, and the leadership in that community. We listen carefully and act thoughtfully. Client satisfaction enables us to continue to build our business, and we always strive to give client the best customer experience possible.”
